Banka Francesca

The name of this game literally means French Bank in English. It is a gambling game commonly found in Portuguese casinos, played with three dice, on a table with a layout. Gameplay bears similarities to Punto Banco or Baccarat. The House has a huge edge on this game.

Players place their wagers on one of only three betting spaces on the layout, which are: "Big", "Small", or "Aces". Big is a dice total of 14, 15 or 16. Small is a dice total of 5, 6 or 7. Aces is a roll of all three dice showing the one-spot. The dealer rolls the dice and continues to roll the dice until one of the three betting categories comes up. The bank pays out even money (1 to 1) to players on Big and Small bets, and pays at odds of 61 to 1 on Aces. All losing wagers are collected by the bank. However, players may change or remove bets before a Big, Small or Aces is rolled and the bets are decided.
