The Clock Face and Magic Die Trick Ask a volunteer to pick a number from a clock or watch face without telling what it is. Then tell them to find the number opposite it. 6 is opposite 12, 8 is opposite 2, etc. Now tell them to subtract the lowest number of the two from the other. Finally ask them to add 1. You now say that you will roll the magic die and that the uppermost face and the opposite, or bottom face, will add up to the number that they have. This number will always be 7. |
